I think it's a pretty accurate picture of her size. She's about 16 pounds, not quite 12" tall at the withers. The picture of her giving me a paw in my blog header is also a pretty good scale. You're not alone, though- people often say she looks smaller in person than in pictures.
Wow, she's tiny! She's about the same size as Lola (though probably not nearly as long; my pup looks like a daschund sometimes, from how long she is).
It's fabulous that you can walk somewhere where you can get things like that though! The best we've seen is a dead cat and crow, both of which Jess tried to roll on. Urgha.
Sophie, I think you'd be surprised by how long Maisy is, too! She's half corgi, and from nose to butt, she's 24" (so twice as long as she is tall). I don't feel comfortable putting her in anything less than a 28" or 30" crate.
This entry has a picture showing her length quite well: http://reactivechampion.blogspot.com/2010/07/examining-maisys-conformation.html
This was at a local state park- we hike there weekly in good weather- although we don't usually find "good stuff" like this. Maisy didn't try to roll in it, but she did try to eat it!!

Thanks to an awesome nose!
She seems so much smaller in this picture than I thought she was. Maybe the bone's just that big?

You know what it is? The little picture on the right by your about me blurb makes her look a lot bigger! She's a tiny little girlie!
Oooh, yes. That picture makes her look freakishly large. It must be the angle or something.
