He ball manipulation skills remind me of Clover's. Clover is very specific about where she puts her ball... We call her 'the physicist' because she likes to place or toys on the edge of the stairs or the sofa to watch it roll down.
Oh, Maisy does that edge-of-the-couch thing, too! She'll set it down and nudge it, then try to catch it before it rolls off. She does it on the bed, too, but not the stairs.
Hahaha! Jun has a whole repertoire of this kind of thing! Especially setting her ball (or bone, or sock, or piece of lint, etc) in front of the vacuum, law mower, etc. Any place she knows I will have to move it or it will incidentally get moved.
Maisy is terrified of the vacuum, but she goes nuts trying to get her ball in front of the lawn mower- man does her ball go shooting off fast! She seems to think that's great fun.
The lawn mower doesn't destroy it? I always have to stop and move it. I've had too many balls destroyed when I let my grass get so long it covers them up.
Surprisingly, no. Maisy's outdoor ball is a cuz, and they seem to withstand abuse pretty well. However, the lawn mower does shoot it out like crazy- last time it happened, it ended up in our neighbor's yard two houses away...
